Position Description:
The primary function of the New Business Sales Consultant is to identify the needs of a clients
and provide an opportunity for those needs to be met through the purchase of our various
services being; Temporary Employment Services, Payroll Outsourcing, Recruitment
Services, Outsourced HR and IR services and meeting our clients Training needs and
also ensure that an exceptionally high standard of professionalism and service is rendered to
our clients and contracting staff alike.
The successful candidate will need the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
A proven track record in a New Business Development
Ability to influence and negotiate with decision makers of companies;
Sound knowledge of contract staffing
Ability to operate in a team as well as independently;
Well-presented and professional at all times;
Ability to make decisions, in the best interest of the client and Company, in the absence of
management;
Strong personality and ability to handle oneself professionally;
Have industry knowledge and demonstrate an understanding of statutory legislation
governing employment being: BCEA, Bargaining Councils (mainly MEIBC); Labour
Legislation, OHS Act, Tax, Medical Aid, UIF etc.
Ability to prepare accurate concise quotations and general administrative tasks;
Computer literacy having working knowledge of MS Excel, Work, PowerPoint and Outlook;
Good understanding of sales techniques and processes;
Sound communication skills both written and verbal
Good time management skills
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Proven ability to remain positive, committed, enthusiastic and remain dedicated
throughout.
Proven ability to adapt to changing environments;
Proven ability to coordinate processes to ensure client needs are met.
The position offers a competitive salary with the usual large company benefits. This position
requires that the suitable candidate has a valid driver’s license and may require travelling within
SA and outside SA borders on occasions.
